In short
We use essential cookies to keep this website and shop working. Google Analytics runs only if you accept Statistics. The Cycle Right videos on our Primary Schools page are served from WordPress.com; WordPress.com may record video play events through Jetpack Stats as described below. These players do not use Vimeo embeds. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the left menu. Simply visiting or scrolling the site is not consent.
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage used by Cyclopath Cycling School. For how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Your choices
Our cookie panel gives you three options:
- Accept: turns on the optional categories.
- Decline optional cookies: keeps them off. Essential functions such as remembering your choice and your shopping basket still work.
- View preferences: lets you review the categories and save your choice.
To change your mind later, open the left menu and select Cookie settings. You may see the panel again if you clear your browser data, use another device, or our settings change. We remember your choice for 365 days.
2. Cookies we use

|---|---|---|---|
cmplz_* | This website (Complianz) | Remembers your cookie choice | 365 days |
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | This website (WooCommerce) | Keeps your basket up to date | Browser session |

Security and anti-spam services: Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies when its relevant protections are active. Examples include __cf_bm (bot detection; expires after 30 minutes of inactivity) and cf_clearance (remembers successful security checks; duration depends on the security configuration). These cookies are not necessarily set for every visitor or on every visit. Their use depends on the Cloudflare features enabled; see Cloudflare’s cookie documentation. Akismet spam filtering, if enabled on forms or comments, can process submission and technical information without necessarily setting a browser cookie. See the Privacy Policy for details of this processing. The specific Cloudflare cookies present should be checked against a live cookie scan and the site’s security settings.
Optional (only with your consent)
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Counts visits and shows how pages are used | Up to 2 years |
Not every cookie is set on every visit. It depends on the features you use.
3. Analytics (Statistics)
If you allow Statistics, Google Analytics helps us understand how the website is used so we can improve it. It can process your browser and device details, approximate location, pages viewed and referral information. You do not need to accept it to read about our programmes or send an enquiry.
4. Embedded videos
The Cycle Right videos on the Primary School Cycling Programmes page are MP4 files delivered from WordPress.com VideoPress storage and played with the browser’s native video player. The browser requests a video file only when playback starts; the poster image may load with the page. These players do not embed Vimeo or request Vimeo resources. WordPress.com receives a standard request to deliver the media. WordPress documents that Jetpack Stats can record play events for WordPress.com-hosted videos; if enabled for this site, the data may include your IP address, user agent, the page and referring page, timestamp, language and country. See Jetpack’s VideoPress privacy information.
5. Preferences and marketing
The panel may list Preferences and Marketing categories. These always need your consent. Seeing a category in the panel does not mean every kind of tracking in it is used on every page.
Links to Google reviews and social media take you to another website, where its own cookie choices apply.
6. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use Cookie settings in the left menu to withdraw or change your choice. Reload the page afterwards to close any third-party content already loaded. Withdrawing consent does not undo data lawfully collected before.
Cookies already set may stay until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings. Clearing cookies can remove your saved choice, sign-in and basket. Declining optional cookies does not stop technical processing needed to run the site or deliver a service you ask for, such as security logs, enquiry emails or orders. See our Privacy Policy for those.
7. More information and contact
Google, Automattic and payment providers may process information outside Ireland. Our Privacy Policy explains this in the international processing section. Cookie lifetimes describe browser storage and are separate from how long a provider keeps data on its own servers.
For the providers’ own cookie details, see: WooCommerce cookie information and Google Analytics cookie information.
